Rumors continue to swirl about the possible appearance of a refreshed Surface lineup, but Microsoft is also working hard to polish the experience on current Surface devices. In last month’s update, the company fixed touch screen and shutdown issues with improvements in system stability. They also fixed the “connected standby” feature on both the Surface Book and the Surface Pro 4. While Microsoft has not detailed the Surface Update History page, Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 owners can grab the new firmware from the Update settings menu. To download go to Start>Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update>Check for Updates. Users will need to reboot their devices to apply the downloaded update and complete the installation process.
